Westfall is alliance territoy and is a bit tricky to get to as a low level horde (you should be at least level 15).

To get there take a zeplin from Undercity or Orgrimmar to Grom'gol Base Camp.

Then swim north up the coast of Straglethorn Vale, keep far away from land to avoid pulling agg.

Once in Westfall get on land (off the beach) and stealth your way further north. Just north of gold Coast Quarry on the beach cliff there is a shed and a windmill surrounded by some level 12 - 13 Defias, its an out of the way place so you shouldnt see alot of alliance there. Just keep killing them it might take awhile for a mask to drop (about half an hour to an hour).

Once you've got it just hearthstone back to town.

Doing this in the morning will help reduce your chances of running into alliance (people tend to stop playing and go to sleep around that time of day).

This is a pretty sweet gold guide, but everyone knows not to craft early, this is just a little more detailed.
In this game there are serveral ways to make money, I would like to introduce a few of them in this guide.

Step 1 - Change from Crafter to Gatherer

Change your tradeskill into two gathering skills if you see that your tradeskill doesn't bring much profit, in fact
tradeskills mostly bring very few profit because there is just too many high level crafters with the time progressing.
Leveling tradeskills or gathering skills in this game is really not hard, at high level it requires maybe 2-3 days of work to max a skill. If there was really some big profit to make with enchanting/leatherworking/smithing/tailoring, don't you think that other people who can spend more time than you online each day, would have already long ago maxed those tradeskills and started to flood the market with items?

In fact they did; actually shortly after people start to hit 60 on a new server people start to exploit all possible ways to make money to the maximum, so you got two possibilities to make money. You can find a niche, a little secret way of making money, which is extremely profitable but which is not known (well) by other players. As long as your secret stays one, you will continue to make nice money, but be sure that you wont find such a secret on any public forums as spoiling it would also ruin the profit from it. (As soon as people know a way to make money, many start to provide the same sort of item and flood the market with it = decrease of demand = decrease of price = no profit for you)
The second way, which is the interesting way for us, is to provide the market with items that are needed on a large base and that are always demanded. What are those items in general? Right! Ingredients for tradeskills.

Step 2 - Choose your Gathering Skill

Almost every tradeskiller wont, at some point, be able to provide himself with all the ingredients he needs. The more people there are who stick to their tradeskills and don't want to give them up, the better the profit will be for you. This is why you should choose two gathering skills (cannot choose more than two).
People will ask themselves now… but wait, if I give up my tradeskill I won't be able to make myself armor anymore? For that problem there is a simple solution, use mostly drop/quest items. If you use items that drop instead of crafted items, you wont be much behind (difference between items you can make and items you find at your level while questing and hunting are mostly very small) and also you will be able to concentrate fully on gathering ingredients which you will sell on the AH. This way you will - in a short and fast way - make a lot more money than any crafter and will eventually be able to buy yourself any crafted item (if you
should really want one).

Now there is only one problem, which gathering skills to choose?
Well this is really your choice and depends on the economy of your server, but I will try to make a general list of the gathering skills, ranking them by how much profit they generate, helping you to get an overview.

1) Mining - Mining is maybe the most profitable gathering skill. Why? It's used for 3 different tradeskills => Weapon/Armor Smithing + Engineering. Also some ores/metal bars are used for potions and other tradeskills. You can mine several ores from one
mining spot and you can melt the ore yourself to bars.
The other VERY important fact is that you get rare gems from mining spots which are needed for tradeskills and other things. At high levels these rare gems start to pay off a lot, as one arcane crystal for example can be sold for a lot of money on the AH, because it is needed for making Arcanite Bars the most precious and rare metal there is.

2) Skinning - Skinning is also a very profitable gathering skill as you get all your leather while hunting. You have to kill beast type of mobs which can drop different sorts of leather. Sometimes you get rare scales and quest items which are also extremely precious. Skinning is so profitable because you can do it while killing mobs, that means you go into a cave with beasts and kill them for a certain among of time which brings you extra loot + exp as well as loads of leather.

3) Herbalism - Herbs are a bit hard to find, but if you know the spots it becomes actually easy if you have no competition. Herbs sell surprisingly well on the AH and are not offered often. If you really search good spots in high level zones, with not too many people you can make nice money out of this. Especially because you can get up to three herbs from one plant.

4) (Dis)Enchanting - I have played wow for 2 1/2 yrs now and that skill so far for me is the BEST cash maker…there are TONS of players enchanting but I got the skill to disenchant for mats to sell in the AH. First there is no money down to post them in the AH+. You can get items to disenchant from ANYWHERE. Then you solo ins where you pick up BOP items. You can use them so Dischant them for sweet mats. Post them in the ah when you have 20 of the mat you are looking for.I send all the items I dont want to my level one char to sell in the AH and I only sell Greens lvl 7-9 this means 17,18,19,27,28,29 there are so manny ppl trying to tweek out a char that this is great cash. But then what do I do with the lower lvl ones.I dischant them for the mats. Then sell the mats in the AH. I belive that this is a GREAT cash maker.

Step 3 - Organised Gathering

Now you need to start gathering items. It doesn't matter if you raise your gathering skills while leveling or as a high level, you will always want to keep these things in min:

Ingredients drop according to zone level. That means, the higher the level of the ingredients you need, the higher level the zone gets in which you have to search.
Always keep up your tracking. If you do mining or herbalism, make sure to ALWAYS have the tracking for those items switched on,
after dying for example it turnes itself off and you wont see any yellow dots anymore on the map.
Find the good zones. There is certainly better zones than others for gathering skills and good spots for finding beasts to skin, you will have to find your very own favorite spots which are not too crowded, but there are already people who found out about the good zones for gathering. On our forums here you can find a complete compendium of the best zones for each herb for example and there is more to come about this shortly. In the meantime you don't have to go and search through all zones, you can simply use www.thottbot.com and check where the ingredient you need can be found most frequently.
Make dots on your map. Either use the dot system (from cosmos or insomniax) for making dots where you find certain minings spots/herb locations, or use a mod that will do this for you automatically; you can find one in our download section.
This will allow you to go directly - without losing time - to the possible spots for ingredients and check if they are up. The longer you do this and the more different paths you take through a zone, the more dots you will get and the faster/more efficient you will become while gathering.
For skinning its slightly different; here you will most likely find caves with a lot of beasts (like the ape cave in Un'Goro or the Yeti cave in Winterspring), but make dots anyway so you can quickly go to another skinning spot if there is already someone hunting at yours.
Step 4 - Use all Your Options

You will have to combine your gathering skills with a few other things to really make the biggest profit.

While searching ingredients or while waiting on the respawn of your mining/herb spots, KILL THINGS. Kill things as much as you can on your way. Don't kill any trash like Oozes for example, but kill stuff that drops cloths (humanoid mobs) or mobs that drop other useful stuff.
If you really don't get the time to kill mobs on your way then go into instances from time to time. Make sure to find a rule for the loot that is distributed and make sure to always ask if anyone needs an item, if not everyone should roll on this dropped item.. Eventually you will win stuff and be able to sell in on the AH.
Additionally, in instances you will find a lot of cloths from mobs which you can sell in stacks on the AH.
Always empty your bags before going to gather stuff or before going to an instance. This is extremely important, bag space = money. Therefore try to invest early in 14-16 slot bags to carry as much loot as possible.
When you do quests, and when you don't need any of the items that are offered as reward, make SURE to always pick the biggest Axe/Sword/Plate Armor. Those sell for a much nicer money than cloth items at the merchant.
Friends who do tradeskills can help. If you got friends who do tradeskills PROFIT from their knowledge and ask them about how the economy goes for ingredients, what do they need the most right now, what is the hardest item to find currently etc.
Make Mules. If you lack bank space don't buy pricy bank slots, just make a mule and log it in when needed, using the postbox system or a friend or a second computer (if mule is on second account) to transfer items.
Step 5 - Auction House is Your Friend

Now we get to one of the most important factors for money making, the Auction House in short AH. Almost all ingredients/gems/armor pieces can be sold for a bigger money at the AH than to the merchant. Even if the price difference is only 1 gold, it pays off with the time coming. And there we already get to the most important rule about the AH - PATIENCE.
You will have to get to know the AH, it's prices and it's moods, it's times and it's secrets. Don't mind studying the AH for a lot of time, it's well worth it. There are UI mod's that write down automatically on item windows the prices that they were seen for last time on AH, this makes your work much much easier.
A few things that you need to work out about the AH:

Get to know the prices, play with the prices. Get to know the going prices for items that are offered on the AH. This will allow you to estimate the best prices for your own items and will allow you to even play with these. This means, if you know exactly how much an item is worth normally, why not offer it for a slightly higher price when there is noone else offering the same item?
Right, this is where the actual profit comes from, knowledge about prices and the AH.
Offer all your items. Even if it might be a bother at the beginning and even if it might take a while, you will get used to it and find out eventually which items sell on the AH at all and which not, allowing you to sell the ones that don't sell well at all to the merchant immediately.
You will pretty quickly get the drill and become a pro, you will be able to memorize prices and use them quickly to set values for your goods in order to move on faster to more farming.
Watch the AH. This will allow you to detect certain leaks and holes. Sometimes items like ores are offered in a huge amount and prices drop, you might want to keep your items and sell other things first while waiting for a moment when there is less of these items for sale.
You might EVEN consider (if you find cheap merchandise on the AH) to buy up all of it yourself and sell it for a higher price afterwards, people will be forced to buy from you and forced to pay the price you set because there wont be any other source for this item, than yours.
Whatever you do, DON'T UNDERBID. People tend to make the prices for items lower in order to sell them faster and to underbid competitors, this however is very narrowminded. It will hurt you in the end and cause you to have to sell your items cheaper and cheaper, getting less and less money in the long run.
Look at this example: Mostly tradeskillers start off selling crafted items for a big profit, then when competition comes they have to lower the prices and at the end they end up selling their stuff for slightly more than what it cost to make it.
So if you can prevent a price decrease, rather be patient and leave your items at the same price, eventually they will get bought, even if it takes several tries.
Look at what times items sell the best. This sounds easy but it's actually something you always have to keep in mind.
If, for example, you hunt in an instance and get a blue item, you will want to put it on the AH fast. But lets assume that you are playing at a very late time, like 3 am. If you put the auction for your blue item now with a 24h duration, the auction will expire at 3 am the next night, not leaving many people the chance to overbid each other at the end. (most bids are made at the last moments) So always look what is the best, 8h duration or 24h, always check if you shouldnt maybe wait for the next day rather to offer your item for sale, etc…
Always put up buyout prices. Never make auctions for items without having a buyout price. Many people who want to raise crafting or want an armor piece fast don't want to wait 1 day in order to know if they won an auction or not. This is especially true for crafting ingredients. Imagine you are a crafter, would you want to bid on one stack of mithril bars and then wait like 1 day just to know if you won, although you need the bars now? Most likely you wouldn't, so always put a buyout. Also there are many people who have a lot of money and really want an armor piece, those will gladly pay the buyout price if they really desire what you sell and if your buyout price is not way too high.
Last point is.. what to put as buyout and what to put as base bid? This is something you will have to find out yourself but a general rule that you can apply at the beginning is, don't ever go lower than the default base price that is given to you as starting bid. Also if you are not sure what to put as buyout, look at other auctions selling the same item, if there is none, put the double of the base price (+ a bit more maybe) until you get to know the economy. But beware, this is only a vague rule for beginners, getting to know the prices of your AH is OBLIGATO
Enjoy

Lately i have seen alot of different money making strategies, and to be honest i dont really like the "go grind 1 zillion mobs and hope for a epix" or "level a rogue - mc equip him, and solo some boss"
This is the method ive been using to make cash! And alot and fast. Since i play on a server with 15 MC guilds, and 10'ish BWL / NAX guilds, i have been profiting alot of being one of the only makers of the infamous "Dark Iron" items.

For a list of items:

http://thottbot.com/?s=dark+iron

What i do, is i have made both a post on our un-official forum, and our official forum - offering my services, and since alot of people know who i am… they come to me when they need DI items.
The whole great thing, is i have one day each week, where i go to BRD and solo my way to the black anvil (I use reckless :D) and make allmost 20 items (depends ofc and **** :D)
Each item i charge 75g just to craft, since the other guy got enough cash on his hands, and he only crafts for his guild.

Conclution:

This can and will be very profitable, and it is.. atleast to me. Another thing is that to some people grinding TB rep to get theese sweets is in itself alot of hard work, but then again. Very profitable!

This is a guide ment for the people able to craft theese items, and to thoose who dont see the endless possibilities. The best thing is that there is on each realm, alot of new guilds forming, needing hunter/pally/warrior FR items, and for myself i got 303 FR (not even tank)… I sometimes make 25-30 items in a week, and sometimes i dont make anything in 1-2 months.

Remember: This is a guide for thoose who dont see the profit in helping/crafting Dark Iron items for other guilds/people

West and North Dire Maul

East Dire Maul is not included because a trained monkey can do it

Materials needed for a full run on West and North;

Crescent Key (gotten in EDM), 2 rune thread, 8 rugged leather, 4 Rune cloth bolts, 1 Thorium Widget, 1 Frost Oil

Getting to Dire Maul

Get to Theramore, and fly down to Feralas. Once there head east, stay off the main road because it runs through a horde town (you can easily avoid by hitting the water) once past the town hit the road and follow it east. Dire Maul is located almost in the middle of the zone, once you’ve found it head north into it.

Now you don’t have to fight you’re way into DM, most of the mobs have a very small agro radius, so just dodge out of the way. Follow the passageways until you come to a T crossing. Go right, and head across the passage way you should see a door, go through and you come into a big green courtyard. From here you can access East, West, and North. Also you can mount up here, so do so.

West Dire Maul; Need Crescent key or a rogue

Ok, first you need to clearing the large wandering tree elementals. These can be banished, and they do have a knock back effect.

Once all the trees have been cleared move into the middle, you will see a large pylon with elementals about it. You need to clear all of them; they use arcane missiles, have a small blink, but not much in the way of HP. These can also be banished. Once all of the mobs have been killed continue out of the middle and go right.

You will a passageway leading off to the right (at this point people will be screaming to kill the named, don’t worry you’ll be coming back). Watch out of invisible ghosts, these not to hard (See invisible is great here).

You should see an open doorway that leads to a large room full of ghostesque mobs, with a ramp leading up. You will be clearing the mobs in the middle and right hand side. They can silence so keep you healer/spell casters back. Once the middle and left is clear, hug the right wall up.

Now at the top of the ramp you will find some wandering ghosts, its best to kill them and save you’re self some hassle. Now face down the ramp, you will want to hug the right hand side of the railing. Watch out for the two caster mobs, they can be a pain. Follow round until you hit a wall, at this point you should see another pylon. Just do the same as before.

After pylon two AoE the skeletons, carry on over the bridge. Invisible ghosts here again, only a few. Grab the quest, and hit the far side. Pylon number three, rinse and repeat. Now you may find a wandering NE female and her pet bear. Off tank the NE female (she’s a hunter and uses varying shots) and kill the bear first (he charges).

Ok back to the middle of the bridge, and drop down onto the ramp below. Dismiss pets before hand or wipe central. The tree boss is a straight forward fight, he is also used in paladin epic if that’s an issue.

Down into the main courtyard and through the door. Invisible mobs again, just clear through until you come to the main chamber. You will find wandering patrols of storm elementals that need to be killed. Key is to banish the main one, and kill the lesser ones who don’t have that much HP. If no warlock, the big one can be off tanked easily enough.

At this point go left and clear pylon 4. Careful not to agro the mobs that wander around the central area. Go back to where you came in, and go right clear pylon 5. The main area is now accessible.

The fight is straightforward, just kill the eyes he spawn as they can be annoying. Now go leave the central area, and right from where you came in is a door that leads to the library. You will find a place to repair and buy drinks here, also Mooncloth Robe Pattern is available at 4 gold.

Under the ramp you came in is the prince, he hits fast but not overly hard. Once he is dead return to the quest NPC at the top for hand in. The reward chest is under the ramp in the library, by all accounts the mace sells for 7 gold.

This is West Dire Maul done, if you wish to make the most of the situation I would recommend doing North right after.

North Dire Maul

Ok in the corner of the library is a passageway that leads to North Dire Maul, follow this up. Once you reach the top of the passageway, hug the railing to the right. What you’re going to do now is to make life easy for you’re self. There is a ramp in front of you, you will want to run up it and left out of the instance, purely a time saving tool feel free to kill the ogres.

Now the overriding factor in North is NOT to kill the varying bosses you meet. The reason being, the more left alive at the end the more loot in the tribute (chest you get after killing the king).

If you do not have a rogue or an engineer you will need to go back down the ramp you ran up of and hug the right wall. Clear the dogs and continue round, you should see a named ogre. He has a key you need, once dead back out of the courtyard to instance start. If you have a rogue with 300 lock picking don’t worry

Facing out from instance entrance go left, watch out for the patrol of an ogre and two dogs. Dogs see through stealth. Clear the left area, and go up the first ramp you see. There are a few wandering patrols, its best to kill them off in case you wipe later on.

You should see a raised courtyard area, and a ramp. Clear up the ramp and be careful of adds (often best to pull down the ramp). Once this area is secure, you will notice a wandering named guard, try not to kill. Once he is safely away, grab the key from the chest in middle, and head to other side of courtyard and down ramp to locked door.

Once in the passageways look out for wandering Eyes of Zomm, they summon in two 60 elite elementals. Clear down the first passage way to the bugs, AoE these. Now you will see a set of ogres with pets to you’re right and a gnome with a quest marker. Also a wandering guard, and a broken trap on the floor. Pull the set of mobs around the fire. Then use the Thorium Widget and Frost Oil on the broken trap, this will freeze the named in place. Carry on around the corner, there’s a set of mobs in the corner but they can be safely ignored, and clear the set of mobs next to the ramp.

The gnome gives a quest for the ogre suit (you did bring the parts listed above right?) but you missing Ogre Tannin. Up the ramp and do the same again, and once more in the corner. In the corner is ogre tannin basket, looting tannin causes a mob to spawn and rush down the ramp, an easy kill

Return to the gnome and get you suit, then its back up the ramps. At the top ramp, go left and kill the two ogres at door. Carry on through and kill the other set of ogre. Now suit up and talk to the captain, only one person needs do this. He will rush off, and won’t agro other party members.

Now clear the right hand two mobs, pull them into tunnel to avoid adds. Hug the right wall, pull the dogs making sure that the patrol of dogs is no where near by. For the best result also pull dogs into the tunnel.

Now from the right wall cut across the courtyard to the broken ramp in the central ring. If you haven’t done so kill the patrol of dogs.

King fight is straight forward. Off tank the observer, making sure not to kill him, also keep him away from the king as he will heal him. The king hits hard, so have the healing ready. Have had a paladin tank him with a priest healer, and a warrior tank with a druid healer so nothing is needed. Once the king is dead, the observer becomes non-agro.

Loot the king, and hail the NPC that ran in. Talk to him twice for tribute, make sure everyone has the king buff and head back to the start, talk to the guards on the way for a 120min buffs. You will find the captain on the way, talk to him to receive a quest.

Return to the library, and behind were the prince was, is a chest. Return the gloves to the captain for you’re reward.

This is North DM done.

FAQ

Q. Why don’t we killed the named in North?
A. The more bosses left alive when the king dies, the more loot in tribute. With all alive, 3 blue items

Q. We did north but can’t get the chest behind the prince, what do we do?
A. In order to access the chest you need to kill the prince, this is done by freeing the Immotar (clear the 5 pylons)

Hello,

I'm sure many of you have visited the Blasted Lands at some point and have noticed the large dragon that always seems to sneak up behind you while you are questing/farming? (...)

I'm sure many of you have visited the Blasted Lands at some point and have noticed the large dragon that always seems to sneak up behind you while you are questing/farming? Well, if you and a few of your friends are level 60, then you have found an ample source of gold.

Teremus is a weak boss dragon, it only takes 4-5 people to kill him. He has been done by 2 people before, but they were fully decked in epic gear. I have just done him for the first time today with 4 other people 5 total) and although the battle is long, he is relatively easy and simple. He drops an item: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8244, sometimes up to 4 from a single kill. Then you take that item, and turn it in to: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/mob.html?wmob=7363. He will give you a bag, and inside the bag is a random lvl 40-49 Blue or Epic BoE. That's right, a BoE, so you can sell it on the AH. Today, I got 2 crystals, so I turned both of them in and received 2 Blue BoEs, worth about 50g on my server. Like I said, they are random BoEs, so it is possible to get a weapon that would be worth much more gold, or even an epic weapon that will be worth a LOT more.

Now to explain the battle itself. You definitely need a Warrior for this battle, and I will explain why later. Teremus is immune to Silence, Stuns, Battle Shouts, DoT spells (that's right! No DoTs), some Mage spells, and I would suppose Poisons too. The only think I (the lvl 60 Warrior) was able to use on Teremus was Taunt and Sunder Armor. This battle is very long because of the fact that you can not use DoTs on him for extra DPS. In addition, every time he uses his flame attack, everyone who gets damaged by it heals Teremus, so stay out of the way of the Flame Breath! The healing he gets from this attack is substancial comparing it to the DPS you are able to use on him. Every 30 seconds or so, he will use a Knockback attack on the Warrior and his aggro list will reset, and will probably attack the nearest Mage or Warlock. Whoever gets aggro is to run towards the Tank, so he/she can use Taunt and Sunder Armor to regain aggro. After that, you just follow through the motions and whittle him down.

Suggested Group: Warrior, Mage, Hunter, Priest/Druid, Shaman/Paladin.

The reason for the supporting healer class (Paladin/Shaman) is because this battle is very long. Your Main Healer will probably run out of mana, so you need a supporting healer to step up while the Main Healer gets some mana back.

Teremus respawns daily, so you can redo him over and over for some nice loot.

Note:Teremus is also immune to all Fire and Ice spells, so Mages must use Arcane damage. Also, Starshards seems to be the only DoT that works on it.

Kalimdor Area "Easter Eggs"

There are also a number of quests
and bosses spread throughout the East wing, capable of giving up some
nice loot, which makes it worth running through more than once.

1. The entrance to Dire Maul East can be found,
unsurprisingly, to the right of the large pit in the Broken
Commons. Zone in.

2. The opening area of Dire Maul East is known as the
Warpwood Quarter. There's a large pit in front of you (down
below is The Conservatory, which you'll get to soon enough),
and a path that winds counterclockwise to the right. For the most
part, you'll run into a mix of plant and tree-like creatures -
Warpwood Tanglers, Treants, Lashers, and towering Warpwood
Crushers.

3. As you round the first corner, you'll see a small little imp
named Pusillin. This is the NPC for the quest 'Pusillin
and the Elder Azj'Tordin,' and he also gives up the
Crescent Key that opens Dire
Maul North and West… when he's good and ready. You'll have
chase him further into the instance before he'll give up the goods,
however.

4. The group continues clearing until they reach the northeast
corner of the Warpwood Corner. From here, it's possible to go
left and north, but many groups will skip that area completely. To
continue your chase with Pusillin, you'll need to go right
into a narrow hallway, called The Hidden Reach.

5. Partway down the hallway, you'll have the choice of continuing
straight or making a right. To continue chasing Pusillin, you
need to continue forward. (You'll be back to the room on the right
soon enough.)

6. As you go down the hallway, you'll run into some stealthed
patrols; these can cause real problems if your group isn't alert for
them. As you emerge into the next room, the group will dispatch of a
few groups and bear to the right, where there's a small ramp leading
up to a small platform, where Pusillin waits for you.

7. This time, when you talk to Pusillin, he spawns a number
of Wildspawn Imps and transforms himself into a nasty demon.
If you have a mage on hand, it's easy to dispose of the imps while
everyone else pounds Pusillin. When he's dead, he drops the
Book of Incantations needed for
his quest, as well as the Crescent Key
for anyone who needs it.

8. At this point, most groups will turn around and backtrack to
the room you passed a few minutes ago. There are a lot of mobs here,
but if you stick to the left wall, you can skip most of them. At the
rear of the room is a large ramp leading upward to the mage
Lethtendris, who is the target of the quest 'Lethtendris'
Web.'

Lethtendris can drop: Quel'dorai
Channeling RodFelhide
CapAnd some greens too

9. The fight with Lethtendris is pretty simple; the warrior
tanks her for a few seconds while everyone else beats up her minion,
then jumps on her. Once she's down, she drops the needed quest item,
and everyone moves back down to the bottom of the ramp.

10. At the base of the ramp, there's a curved hallway that leads
further downstairs. There are a few groups of mobs to clear at the
bottom, and then you'll find the boss Hydrospawn waiting in
the center in a small shallow pool. Aside from dropping some extra
loot, he's also the objective of the mage quest 'Arcane
Refreshment.'

Hydrospawn can drop: Waterspout
BootsTempest
TalismanWaveslicerAnd
also some greens.

11. After Hydrospawn, the group hugs the right wall and
continues north through the far doorway, and takes the hallway that
leads to a small platform upstairs. Here, you'll find a Wildspawn
Hellcaller protected by a few non-elite mobs, and then the boss
Zevrim Thornhoof.

Zevrim Thornhoof can drop: Satyr's
BowHelm of
AwarenessAlso some resistance helmets(Not high drop
chance)And some greens.

12. The fight with Thornhoof isn't bad, except that he
might occasionally teleport someone onto the altar and begin whooping
on them. When the fight is done, you'll hear Old Ironbark —
the huge tree in the Conservatory — yell 'At
last! Freed from this cursed grasp!' You're now ready for
the final stretch of the instance.

13. Instead of backtracking downstairs, the group can run to the
southwest corner of Thornhoof's platform and jump down, which
should put you right back at Hydrospawn's pool. Avoid the
groups and take the door to the southwest, which leads to The
Conservatory.

13. Your goal in the Conservatory is a door at the very
north. To open it, someone will have to talk to Old Ironbark,
who will then rampage and bust the door down. It's possible to fight
your way to the door, but that involves fighting a lot of patrols,
and it's also possible to hug the east wall and sneak to the door,
only fighting a few single mobs here and there.

14. The final battle of Dire Maul East takes place in the
Shrine of Eldre'Thalas, where there are a few Warpwood
Crushers guarding the upper areas, and then a central area down
below where Alzzin the Wildshaper awaits. It's a pretty
straightforward fight - he shapeshifts a few times, and then a bunch
of non-elite minions come running out to assist, which can easily be
dispatched of with a mage.

Alzzin the Wildshaper can drop:
Ring of Demonic Potency
Razor Gauntlets
Energetic Rod
Energized Chestplate
Fiendish Machete
Whipvine Cord
Gloves of Restoration
Merciful Greaves
Shadewood Cloak
Ring of Demonic Guile

15. Once the fight is over, you'll see a few glowing shards on the
ground near Alzzin's camp. These are for the quest 'Shards
of the Felvine.' Pick up one of the shards and exit
via the tunnel behind the camp, which deposits you in the central
area of Dire Maul.
